The first carved with lions and foliage, applied with scroll handles, stamped leaf-form mounts, and a scalloped foot, cover possibly later; the second carved with stylized foliage and applied with scroll handles and stamped rococo mounts, on trumpet foot with spiralling chasing, apparently unmarked
