painted with scenes after designs by Hokusai, including two travellers in the snow; further traveling figures, one leading the other on horse back; a traveller being carried in a palanquin; two travellers, before a distant view of an impressive castle; two fishermen pulling up a net in a small boat at sea; a solitary traveller high in the mountains, Mount Fuji behind him; three itinerant figures carrying a lantern; two fishermen seated onshore working before large water barrels; and a landscape scene with a torii and distant buildings -- 7¼in.
