oban tate-e, a print from the series 'Tokaido gojusan tsui' (Fifty-three parallels for the Tokaido Road), Shono - Sasaki Takatsuna fording the Uji river to attack Kiso Yoshinaka; and a selection of other prints by Utamaro, Toyokuni, Yoshitaki, Yoshikazu, Hiroshige, Kunisada, Hokusai and Hokuun depicting actors, ladies, warriors and landscape scenes, some mounted.
