TWO PAIR OF VIENNA STYLE VASES AND COVERS, ONE PAIR ON STANDS AND A VIENNA STYLE POT-POURRI AND COVER
Late 19th/20th century, blue beehive marks to the vases
In the neoclassic taste, both pairs of vases of shield shape flanked by angular handles, painted with mythological views within oval surrounds, on a spreading socle and square foot, one pair raised on square stands decorated with polychrome quatrefoil panels enriched with gilt, the other pair on stepped ormolu bases with bracket feet; the oviform polychrome panelled pot-pourri with pierced dome cover and berried finial, raised on three scroll feet
