In the neoclassic taste, the baluster ewer with tall loop handle and foliate terminals, finely painted front and back with a muse and putto, emblematic of either sculpting or painting, 'Bildauerei' or 'Malerei', the ground enriched with gilt foliate scrolls and butterflies within a foliate band, on a conforming circular stand; the charger painted with King Charles I of England and family, 'König Karl I von England', the border with ogival vignettes of birds flanked by diamond-shaped devices and oval panels
