Late 19th century, blue crossed swords mark
Finely painted after Raphael's 'Sistine Madonna', The Madonna and Christ Child attended by Saint Sixtus in gilt enriched Papal garb and Saint Barbara above two winged genii, the figures rest on a bed of clouds, before a host of angels, framed by heavy curtains
11 x 8 in. (27.8 x 20.3 cm.), within a giltwood frame
