A FRENCH PALISSY STYLE TROMPE L'OEIL CIRCULAR BASIN Circa 1855 - 1875, attributed to the School of Paris, Victor Barbizet
Naturalistically moulded and applied with three fish entwined with an eel, the cavetto, with a turtle, a frog and a mussel with barnacles, the border with a large snake, a rhino beetle, a lizard, a snail and a dragonfly, interspersed with scattered shells among ferns and foliage, the reverse pierced for hanging
