Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with white gold bracelet in 1991 and its subsequent sale on 29 May 1991, presentation box and outer packaging, spare 18K white gold snap on back and wooden setting pin. It has never been offered in public before and is believed to be one of only seven examples of this reference in white gold to appear at auction to date.

With the difference of the integral bracelet, reference 3945/1 is identical to reference 3940. It was in production from 1958 until around 1998.
