Title within woodcut border, woodcut initials including a large initial E with portrait of Elizabeth I (large portion of last 4 leaves torn away with serious loss of text, one or two wormholes in fore-margins from Aa3 to the end affecting some side-notes, title a little soiled, a little discolouration). Contemporary English calf, blindstamped arabesque at centre of sides (rebacked, corners repaired). Provenance: G.W. Prothero (bookplate). STC 20838.
