Model 250-3000, modified Mauser pattern action with some scroll engraving on the receiver ring, receiver, bolt and magazine floorplate, blued overall, thumb safety with stalking latch, cocking piece with attached retractable peep sight, the barrel inscribed "shot and sighted by John Rigby & Co. 43 Sackville St. London W.", block-mounted leaf sights and ramp-mounted bead foresight with detachable hood, also with a German "HAWEKA 4x" telescopic sight (no provision for fitment)
