Border line scroll engraved action with Maker's name engraved in a banner retaining virtually all recoloured finish, gold inlaid automatic "safe", gold inlaid "1", "2" & "3" to top-levers, forends and ribs, figured stocks, the no. 3 gun with a replacement stock, chopper-lump barrels
Weight 6lb. 7oz., 15½in. stocks, 25in. barrels, chokes approx. improved cylinder to all barrels, 2½in. chambers, nitro proof (3)

Lot Essay

The guns are sold with their original double motor case and a modern treble motor case.
Completed in 1905, the guns were made for Vincent Cartwright Vickers (1879-1939), a member of the Court of Directors of the Bank of England and son of Albert Vickers, founder of Vickers Arms Manufacturers.
