Tasting Note: First tasted with Xavier Borie at Chateau Ducru, June 1997. Distinct blackcurrant Cabernet Sauvignon aroma ; concentrated, full of fruit. More recently : less deep- 'perfect colour', 'perfect fruit' on nose and palate. Perfectly balanced too. One of my top marks at the MW tasting's of '96. I am glad I had already bought some of it.
