Tasting Note: In 1999, it featured in the Grand Awards '89 'Super- Seconds' tasting in New-York when it was medium deep, velvety but with a slightly weak mature rim; sweet but sweaty nose and surprisingly sweet on the palate. Lovely fruit. Very amenable but a touch of bitterness. Good, fragrant; dry, crisp, firm, elegant. Tannic finish. Oct 2001 ***(*) M.B.
