Three capsules corroded. Very bin-soiled, very damp-stained and very damaged labels. Levels: five into neck and one base of neck
Tasting note: It was deeply coloured and still immature; a 'classic nose', Cabernet, slightly peppery. Dry crisp fruit, good length, complete but very tannic - but so was the '86 Margaux. On the palate I gave it identical marks to the Margaux and the Haut-Brion ('86). M.B. (Sept 1998).
