A DELFTWARE DATED MONEYBOX AND A FAYENCE DATED BLUE AND WHITE DISH
1795 AND 1773, ATTRIBUTED TO MAKKUM, THE DISH INITIALLED AND DATED KS:RF/1773 TO THE REVERSE
The moneybox of globular form pierced with a slot below a tiered finial, on a spreading foot, painted with flowers between patterned bands, initialed and dated to the base H·F:/1795, the dish painted with a scene of the Life of Christ, above the title Matte/21V14, within a border of flowers
6¾ in. (17.2 cm.) high and 14 5/8 in. (37.2 cm.) diam. (2)
