Lot Essay

The inscription translated by The school of Slavonic and East European Studies reads 'I Pavun the coppersmith have given this dish to the monastery of manastiru ?' and indistinctly dated. The translator conjects that the date is 6,801 from creation or 1293 A.D. but admits that the first numeral is not clear and could be something other than a '6'
