With scalloped rim below three-colour gold applied palmettes -- 7/8 in. (2.3 cm.) high; a Scandinavian steel-topped gold thimble, the sides with friezes of chased decoration -- 7/8 in. (2.4 cm.); and a Dutch 18ct. gold thimble with reeded border below a star frieze -- 1 in. (2.5 cm.) (3)
