The panelled border alternating between vacant and black scrollwork enamelled panels, one engraved with initials -- 7/8 in. (2 cm.); a further gold thimble, the border decorated with a black enamelled frieze; and two further gold thimbles, one with wide panelled border part cast in relief with flowers and foliage, the other with matted border, all probably American, circa 1900 (4)
