Of tapering cylindrical form, the kylin handles richly-gilt, the waisted circular stands each supported on three lion's paw feet, perhaps outside decorated with flower-sprays and sprigs within mirror and vase shaped gilt cartouches, below gilt-band rims

Cf. Michael Messenger, Coalport 1795-1926, (Woodbridge, 1995), p. 126, pls. 74 & 75 for a garniture of similar form attributed to the Mansfield Workshop of William Billingsley the detail of flower painting shows some similarities to the present lot.
