A Yingqing ewer and cover and a small vase
Song dynasty
The ewer with moulded sides rising towards sharply angled shoulders, applied with a slightly curving spout opposite a strap handle, the cover falling over the cylindrical neck, and moulded with a mythical beast, the green-white glaze crackled, 24.5 cm. high; and a small Yingqing bluish-white glazed vase moulded to the body with a pineapple stucture, underneath a wide flaring scalloped rim, 12.5 cm. high, frits (2)
