Of square section, each side finely enamelled with a vertical panel depicting a mountainous river landscape with pavilions and scholars, accompanied each by a well-known poem, mainly from the Song dynasty, reserved on a lime green ground enriched with stylised floral sprays and symbols, supported on a cylindrical foot encircled by a lappet border, the shoulder with four bats below a pale blue trellis-pattern band enriched with further symbols between flower cartouches, the interior and base glazed turquoise
