The ruyi head well carved through the red, green and ochre layers with a standing figure of a scholar under a tree among rocks, the arched shaft carved with a central section of 'antiques' between lotus, bamboo, a buddhistic lion and lingzhi, terminating with a bat enclosed in a ruyi-shaped panel, all reserved on diaper ground, the reverse with a swastika and trellis pattern, the sides with a key fret band, some damages
