Well carved in relief with a pensive scholar seated beneath a pine tree in a rocky landscape, to the right a young attendant preparing food beside a table with a teapot, censer and book, the reverse with tall rocks, an inscription to the side in running script reading Wu Zhifan zhi ('Made by Wu Zhifan')
