A Tibetan gilt-bronze embossed figure of a bodhisattva
circa 17th century
Seated in virasana on a plinth, his four hands each in vitarkamudra, wearing diaphanous dhoti, decorated with many separate embossed body ornaments partly set with semi-precious stones, his face with serene expression, smiling lips, elongated earlobes with large ear ornaments, the hairdress combed into a high chignon and a pair of tresses falling over his shoulders
