A Tibetan bronze figure of Maitreya

Seated in vajrasana on a lotus base, his right hand in vitarkamudra while the left rests on his lap, wearing pleated dhoti, ornaments, his cold-gilded face with serene expression, painted facial details, turquoise inlaid urna, the blue coloured hairdress combed in a chignon and topped by a stupa and set in front with a five-leaf tiara, the reverse of base with long dedicatory inscription, re-sealed
