Four ivory netsuke
19th century
The first depicting Hotei sitting on top of his large bag, decorated with a geometric pattern, signed Rokosai Sashoho, old paper label with collection number on reverse; the second depicting Hotei pulling his large bag with a boy sitting on top, signed in an oval reserve Rantei; the third depicting Daruma seated, with his mouth open, holding a large fly-whisk, earrings and a bracelet in metal, his robe coloured in light red, signed on a green coloured oval reserve Koun; the fourth depicting Kintoki riding the giant leaping carp, the arms of Kintoki forming the himotoshi, signed in an irregular reserve Gyokusen
