The first an ivory netsuke of a fugu-fish (puffer fish) fully inflated, the eyes inlaid with amber, signed in a rectangular reserve Jonosai; the second an ivory netsuke of two flounders lying on top of eachother, signed Masayuki; the third a walrus-ivory netsuke of two flounders joined toegether, the eyes inlaid with amber, the skin of the fish rendered with finely incised lines and dots; the fourth a large black coral sashi-netsuke of a catfish; the fifth an ivory netsuke of a whale, the eyes inlaid with amber; the sixth a dark horn sashi-netsuke of an eel
