"The oak is more evident here but combines beautifully with the intense white flower and honeysuckle fruit notes followed by very ripe, almost too ripe, exceptionally rich flavors that offer excellent complexity and fine length. Absolutely delicious with good buffering acidity but this is riper than I personally prefer and finishes with a touch of warmth. To be sure, this is still quite fine but it can't match the Clos de la Mouchère for sheer elegance and purity." BH, Jul 1, 2003
