Petersen with his gilt-stamp, gilt tool on the upper board, light blue moiré silk doublures, gilt edges (extremities and spine rubbed). Provenance: Nicholas II (gilt presentation inscription, bookplate) -- 'Printed in Soviet Union' -- Paul M. Fekula.
NICHOLAS II'S COPY, with his circular bookplate and a gilt presentation inscription, in a fine binding by Petersen of St. Petersburg. Nicholas's mother, Empress Maria, had founded this wing of the Obukhovskaia Hospital in St. Petersburg. Fekula 2002 (this copy).
