Lot Essay

The drawing is a parody that shows Marlon Brando as "Johnny", the character he portrayed in the movie The Wild One, dressed in motorcycle gear with a burger, fries, beverage and bottle of ketchup in front of him. Next to Brando is a man resembling Jesus Christ, dressed in a green cap and gown with a globe in front of him. On the far right is Caesar Romero dressed in a western outfit and hat. The three are seated at a table in a diner playing cards. In the background are futuristic buildings, a car and flying saucer. All production numbers and markings are left intact and the work is signed by the artist on the lower right.
