THE FIRST, SECOND HALF 17TH CENTURY, THE SECOND, MID-17TH CENTURY
The first with an arched rectangular and panelled back carved with foliate scrolls and geometric motifs, the shaped arms carved with scroll terminals, on turned supports joined by stretchers, with crimson damask squab cushion, restorations and replacements including some cuts to the back uprights; the second with an arched-rectangular back carved with foliage, entrelacs and flowerheads, the shaped arms with scroll terminals above a padded seat covered in crimson velvet, on ring-turned legs, inscribed 'IB'
