The saint in armour and a cinnabar floating cape, equipped with a shield and a lance, mounted on a horse, the winged serpent in the foreground expelling fire from its mouth, against a rocky landscape, the blessing hand of God rendered in grisaille emerging from the segment of open skies on the upper right corner, the white horse prominently standing out against the earthen and gold background and at the same time contrasting sharply with the saturated blues and reds of the composition
