Portrayed frontal, full-length, dressed in elaborate armour and military boots, with a long red cape, his right hand raised, holding a spear in his other hand, standing on a hilly setting, the miniature figures of Christ and his Mother, each on clouds flanking the saint, the background covered by clouds in swirling forms, the main scene framed by a decorative border of baroque-style foliate scrolls, twenty scenes all around narrating the life of the saint
