The composition divided into two planes; the celestial one representing Lord Sabbaoth holding a blue globe, archangel Gabriel kneeling in front of him and receiving His command, angels and cherubs floating on the clouds, in the earthly realm the Mother of God seated next to a desk with an open Book, raising her right hand in surprise, Archangel Gabriel with outstretched wings having descended from above pointing to her the Holy Spirit, the latter directing red rays towards her, the lower scene taking place in an interior rendered realistically, the table at the left laid with a white tablecloth, an orange, a knife, a pair of scissors and a candle, the loom of the Mother of God figuring on the floor, the panel set in a wooden polychrome frame
