A RARE AND FINELY CARVED YELLOW JADE LIBATION CUP
QING DYNASTY, 17TH/18TH CENTURY

Of irregular section, the cup is well carved in the form of a prunus tree trunk, surround on the exterior by high-relief detailing gnarled branches bearing prunus blossoms and lingzhi carved from the russet 'skin' of the jade, the stone of greenish-yellow tone
