A FINE WHITE JADE FIGURE OF A BOY
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY

The small pebble is finely carved in the round to depict a young boy, eyes closed as if sleeping reclining comfortably against a large lotus leaf, his hands tucked beneath his head while clutching a long lotus stem beside his feet, the stone of even white tone with an area of russet skin highlighting the carving
