A LARGE JADE INLAID GILT BRONZE GARMENT HOOK
EASTERN ZHOU DYNASTY (770-256 BC)

The curving shaft inlaid with four rectangular greenish jade plaques framed on either side by scrolling dragons and at each end with animal heads each inlaid with a circular jade boss to the forehead, the hook formed by a dragon head projecting from the mouth of one of the animal masks
