A famille verte black-ground saucer dish, Yongzheng mark and of the period (1723-1735)
with shallow rounded sides, decorated in coloured enamels to the exterior rim with iron-red and blue lotus flowers with densely painted green scrolling tendrils on a black enamelled ground, the pale green foot with classic scroll, Yongzheng six character mark with double circle in underglaze blue to base -- 5 7/8in. (14.9cm.) diam.

Purchased at Bluett and Sons, 1963.
