the centre impressed with cash-and-trellis diaper within a double-line barbed panel, encircled on the cavetto by a freely carved peony scroll and a classic scroll on the everted rim, covered overall with a soft olive-green glaze - 17 3/8 in. (44.1 cm.) diam., box

A similar dish with a zigzag-diaper border is in the Topkapi Saray Museum, Istanbul, and illustrated by Krahl, Catalogue, vol. I, no. 330, p. 322.
