A Longquan celadon bowl, early 15th Century
the sturdily potted rounded sides rising to a flaring rim, the centre of the interior carved with a feathery lotus spray below an arching lotus scroll at the well and a foliate scroll at the everted rim, the exterior with further lotus scroll, the foot with a band of key-pattern, covered in olive green glaze, the base with an unglazed ring - 7¼in. (18.3cm.) diam.
