A bronze lion censer and cover, 18th Century
modelled seated, the front paws outstretched clasping a spherical ball, the curling hair running down its back leading to a voluminous, pierced and scrolling tail, the fierce detachable head with malachite bi disc embedded in the beasts forehead -- 15 3/8in. (39cm.) high.
