A cloisonne ovoid vase, Qianlong (1736-1795)
of ovoid form rising to the tall shoulders surmounted by a short waisted neck and a flared rim, decorated with a continuous foliate scroll bearing lotus blossoms, between a ruyi-head border on the shoulders and lotus petal panels above the foot, the neck with floral sprays and C scrolls, with gilt rim and foot -- 5¾in. (14.6cm.) high.
