A celadon and brown jade model of a monkey, 18th/19th Century
the animal crisply carved seated on its haunches, holding a peach branch in one hand across its back with trailing branches and leaves, and with the other hand resting on a knee, the monkeys head lowered, its face with bulging eyes and frowned expression - 1 7/8in. (4.7cm.) high, wooden stand.
