A pale celadon jade flattened vase, 18th/19th century
of flattened ovoid form rising to the tall tapering neck with a galleried rim, flanked by scroll handles, supported on a conforming foot, carved in low relief on each side with a taotie mask and C scrolls, later incised four character Qianlong mark, the stone of pale celadon tone with pale russet inclusions -- 4½in. (11.4cm.) high.
