A pale celadon jade hair pin, 16th/17th century
the terminal of the slender tapering cylindrical shaft carved and pierced with foliate scrolls in openwork rising to a central flower head, the stone of a pale white-celadon tone with white inclusions -- 5 15/16in. (15.1cm.) long.
Provenance
Gifted on 2 October 1914 and thence by descent.
