A Sino-Tibetan gilt-bronze figure of a lama, 18th century
cast seated in dhyanasana on a triangular double-lotus base, the right hand in bhumisparsha mudra and his left resting in avakasha mudra, the robes with beaded borders and floral patterns, his face with a peaceful expression below the neatly trimmed hair, the base incised with a cross-vajra and four lotus blossoms -- 4 3/8in. (11.1cm.) high.
