A gilt bronze figure of Amitayus, Qianlong (1736-1795)
modelled seated in dhyanasana on a raised rectangular base, the hands held in the lap in dhyana mudra, wearing an ornate headdress with beaded ankle chains, bracelets, armlets and necklace, and large foliate earrings, his robe tied over his left shoulder with additional fabric flowing over the front of the base, seated before a flaming mandarla -- 8in. (20.3cm.) high.
