A pair of famille rose scraffiato ground jardinieres and trays, 20th century
the body of slightly tapering cylindrical form with flattened rim, painted to the exterior with twin quatrefoil cartouches of flowering peony branches and bamboo, surrounded by scattered flowers on a blue enamelled incised scrolling ground, the shallow tray similarly decorated each with blue enamelled foliate tendrils to the rims, Guangxu six character iron-red mark to base -- 6 7/8in. (17.5cm.) diam. (2)
