the body of slightly tapering cylindrical form with flattened rim, painted to the exterior with twin quatrefoil cartouches of flowering peony branches and bamboo, surrounded by scattered flowers on a blue enamelled incised scrolling ground, the shallow tray similarly decorated each with blue enamelled foliate tendrils to the rims, Guangxu six character iron-red mark to base -- 6 7/8in.
