Two silver mounted jade mirrors, 19th century
the first comprising a celadon jade dragon and chilong hook forming the handle and an oval plaque carved with an elephant encircled by the Buddhist Emblems; the second with a pale celadon jade hair pin forming the handle and an oval plaque carved with double gourds borne on vine framed by cloisonne enamelled geese alternating with semi-precious stones, the reverse of the handle enamelled with bats amidst cloud scrolls -- max. 11 3/8in.
