A rhinoceros horn libation cup, 18th century
carved on the exterior with two confronting chilong balanced atop lingzhi fungus and bamboo forming the openwork foot, with a large cane of bamboo and a lingzhi sprig forming the handle at one end, the interior with stepped ridges forming the outline of a lingzhi head, the horn of deep honey tone -- 6 1/8in. (15.5cm.) long.
